Overview:
The second day of the Russian assault on the Romanian 3rd Army was just as intense as the first. After breaking through the Romanian infantry lines, four Russian tank brigades rampaged through the Romanian formations. Against orders, the Russian tank commanders let themselves get tangled in a Romanian mish-mash. The Romanian 1st Armored, equipped with German AFVs, tied up the Russian 19th and 216th Tank Brigades, as well as their accompanying infantry.Attacker: Russian (Elements of the 216th Tank Brigade)
