Overview:
Attacking again, the Red Army had managed to breakthrough south of Kharkov, on the right flank of the 1. SS-Panzer-Division "LAH". Indeed, there were neither many troops nor assets left to stop the onslaught. The 15th Guards Cavalry Corps went into the fray with the aim of resuming the Kharkov encirclement.
