Overview:
The British attacked the positions held by the 12th SS-Panzerdivision "Hitlerjugend", already tested by the incessant fighting since June 8th and in particular aerial attacks and naval artillery. Two companies from the 26th Panzergrenadier Regiment were defending the garden and the castle of Boislonde under intense artillery fire.
